Precious Pennsylvania

This week I had the privilege of speaking at two events, one for students and one for women at a Christmas luncheon. I knew about this event for one year in advance, which meant I was praying for a year. I prayed that the woman I needed them to be would be the one that showed up. I am trusting that occurred.

I have lived in Georgia since 1992 but still consider myself a Pennsylvania girl with a touch of Georgia now thrown in. It was a delight to come home to my roots, my people, those that have watched me live my life long and winding — have heard about my failures — yet still welcomed me home to hear my story.

Thank you precious Pennsylvania people. You are truly woven into the fabric of my being.

I am still rural, still not fancy, still not impressed by glitz and glamour because God selected my birthplace of country roads and fields.

I ask blog readers from all locations to please pray right now that each seed God planted through me this weekend in Pennsylvania would grow to FULLNESS in the lives of each precious person who crossed my path.

Thank you.

I am useless…except for Him.

And Happy Birthday, mom. 76 looks great on you!

Planting and Watering

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes growth.
