In our present moment in history, with what seems like so much chaos, suffering, evil, hardship, polarization, and uncertainty, I found “One Gritty Blink” helpful in combating the tendency I have to feel overwhelmed and despaired with all that is wrong in the world.
I met Laurie a few years ago and her book, "Live ABOVE the Chaos" helped my faith journey immensely so I was excited to be part of one of the inaugural "One Gritty Blink" study groups. I'm so glad Laurie is sharing her gifts of communicating around hard topics with the world. While this study is deep, it is presented in a very accessible way by posing one question per week for five weeks on topics like, "What do I do with all this suffering?' and "How does God view me?" The One Gritty Blink videos and workbook are designed to help participants explore these hard questions in light of what the Bible says about the brevity of life and eternity.
